Infants (6 weeks to 16 months)
Probably the most critical
period in a child's life to build relationships and trust with adults,
our caregivers will play a special role in caring, playing and
nurturing your infant. Not only are there age appropriate toys to
explore but most importantly, cuddly laps and arms will provide your
child with security and love and individual care. We provide you with
daily reports of your child's day with us and encourage telephone calls
to keep up with everything that happens while your child is in our
care. As your child grows older the transition to the adjacent toddler
room is very easy as the toddler and infant teachers mingle and
interact with all the children in both programs.

| | Toddlers (16 months to 24 months)
At this age as we all
know kids are curious and are learning to be independent. We provide a
fun, safe and colorful environment to encourage their curiosity and
physical and mental growth. The bright toddler table is a perfect place
for a child this age to explore an individual sand box or color on a
paper with a crayon. Music, art projects and interactive toys help
children grow and learn even at this very young age.
Twos
This
is the age when your child is learning to communicate and be
independent. They are not babies anymore and are willing to prove it.
But they still need a lot of encouragement and help to build their
social skills. Our caregivers set up a well-planned environment which
provides choice and self play as well as group play to encourage
sharing. Everyday, small group circles are used to introduce children
to alphabets, numbers, science and art to prepare children for future
academic excellence.

Preschool (Three to Five Years)
Our Preschool
Program offers a rich and wide variety of projects and activities to
build a foundation for children to learn language, math and science and
foster interest in learning by making it fun. Our preschool curriculum
will help them expand their communication and social skills along with
their academic skills in a fun and interesting environment. These are
skills they will need for their success and development for years to
come in school and in life.

| Kindergarten and Before and After School
Children
ages 5 to 12 are eager to form social connections and love new ideas
and challenges. They are growing physically and intellectually and they
need to be in an environment where they are comfortable and relaxed
after spending many hours in school. We at CCA provide that
environment. We try to reinforce academic lessons learnt at school,
especially our kindergarteners. All our children are encouraged to do
their homework but great importance is also given to just playing,
sharing and interacting with friends. As for the parents they love the
fact that we provide back-up care when school is closed for
parent-teacher conferences, spring break, snow days and other holidays.

Summer Camp
Each year our Director works painstakingly to come up with a fun and creative summer program for our children. Different themes each month provides the children with different projects and outdoor experiences. Of course swimming is an integral part of summer and our children enjoy going to the local swimming pool once a week. We also take them on weekly field trips to various local parks, movie theaters, museums, bowling and roller blading. Every year we end our summer program with the much anticipated trip to the Water Park and sleepover at the center. These trips are educationally valuable and developmentally appropriate but above all else they are a lot of FUN! Art projects and other activities make time spent indoors entertaining and relaxing. Please contact us for further information on our summer program.
